NATURE-CAMPSITE AT MOUNT ETNA

Following Via Mareneve uphill towards Piano Provenzano, after 4 km a small road leads to the right into a gravel path, which after a few hundred metres becomes a dirt road. After about 500 m on these dirt roads, you will find yourself in a beautiful landscape shaped by the volcano, with Etna broom trees, black pines and many other shady trees and Mediterranean vegetation.

My land on Etna covers eight hectares. On this area there are many possibilities to park the camper straight and level and above all without immediate neighbours and to set up a wonderful, undisturbed camp in the middle of nature. Shady trees alternate with sunny clearings, and depending on the season, you can choose the best spot for you.

Depending on the season, the area invites you to pick herbs, berries, mushrooms and chestnuts, to go for a walk and to enjoy the wonderful view of the Nebrodi mountains, the sea and Linguaglossa. During the hot and dry summer months it is forbidden to light an open fire. The risk of fire is too great. Forest fires are not uncommon. During the months of October to May, fireplaces may be built, provided they are supervised.

Electricity connections are not available and grey water and the toilet cannot be disposed of on my land. I provide my guests with a 50-litre water container with drinking water and an alternative solution for WC.

This pitch is particularly suitable for people who love nature, for families with children who are looking for adventure and for dog owners who want peace and quiet for themselves and their four-legged friend.
